Setting up your shop

Five steps to open the shop: store details and currency, delivery or pickup, payments, products, then open it.

Part of CPS eMart and CPS Custom.

  1. Shop settings > Store and checkout: currency, store name and details for invoices (legal name, address, email, tax registration number), order number prefix.
  2. Tax: switch VAT on (5% in the UAE), and say whether prices include it and whether delivery is taxed.
  3. Checkout options: ask for a phone number, ask for the Makani number, customer accounts, reviews and returns (with the return window).
  4. Set delivery areas or pickup (Delivery and pickup), and how customers pay (Payments).
  5. Add products, then open the shop. Until then only you can preview it.

With a tax registration number and tax on the order, the order page shows a "Tax invoice" with your TRN and, when given, the buyer's.
