Terms of Service

The agreement between you and City Project Solutions when you use CPS Theme Builder: the trial, billing, your content and cancelling.

Last updated: 13 October 2026

1. Who we are

CPS Theme Builder is a website builder run by City Project Solutions, which operates in the United Arab Emirates and Sri Lanka. In these terms "we" means City Project Solutions and "you" means the person or business that signs up. You can reach us at contact@cityprojectsolutions.com.

2. Your account

You need an account to build a site. Give us accurate details, keep your password to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else has signed in as you.

The person who creates a workspace is its owner. The owner can invite up to four more people as editors, manages billing and is responsible for what everyone in the workspace does with it.

3. The free trial

Every new workspace gets a 7-day free trial with every feature switched on. We do not ask for a card to start it.

When the trial ends without a subscription, the builder becomes read-only and the public site is paused. We keep your pages, images and settings so that subscribing later brings everything back.

4. Subscription and payment

After the trial the service costs $35 (US dollars) a month for one site, billed in advance through PayPal. If you subscribe before the trial ends, the first payment is taken on the day the trial would have finished.

Payments are handled by PayPal under its own terms. We never see or store your card details. If a payment fails, PayPal will retry it; if it keeps failing we may pause the site until the account is up to date.

We will give you at least 30 days notice by email before any price change, and the new price applies from your next billing date after that notice.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Plan & Billing in the console. Your site stays online until the end of the month you have already paid for, and no further payments are taken.

We do not refund part-months, because you keep full access until the end of the period. If something went wrong on our side, write to us and we will put it right.

6. Your content

Everything you upload or write stays yours. You give us permission to store it, copy it between our servers and show it to visitors of your site, only so that we can run the service for you.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you publish: photos, logos, product descriptions, videos and anything else. Do not use the builder for content that is unlawful, misleading, infringes someone else's rights, or harms people.

We may take down content, or suspend a site, if it breaks these terms or the law, or if we are legally required to. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

7. Your domain

Each site gets a free address on our platform. If you connect a domain you own, you keep it with the company you registered it with and you are responsible for renewing it and for its DNS settings. We do not register or sell domains.

8. Acceptable use

Please do not try to break into the service or other customers' sites, overload it, scrape it, resell it, or use it to send spam or distribute malware. Contact forms on your site must only be used for genuine enquiries from your visitors.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep the builder and your published site online, and we keep backups, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted. We will improve and change features over time; if we ever remove something important to your plan, we will tell you in advance.

10. Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost sales or lost data, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Closing an account

You can ask us to close your workspace and delete its content at any time by writing to us from the owner's email address. We may close a workspace that has been unpaid and inactive for 12 months, after warning the owner by email.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will email owners about any change that matters. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
